NRP Affordable Housing and Commercial Area Development reserve funds frozen
On July 23, 2001, the NRP Policy Board passed a resolution that freezes the NRP Phase II Affordable Housing and Commercial Area Development reserve funds until such time it is evident that sufficient funds have been identified for implementing Phase II of the NRP. All applications for the Phase II reserve funds will remain unopened and unevaluated until then. The Policy Board also directed NRP Director Bob Miller to develop an interim plan for funding and implementing Phase II planning activity based on the need for program continuity and projected limitations in NRP resources. In the meantime, neighborhood organizations embarking on Phase II planning can apply to the NRP for up to $10,000 for pre-Phase II planning activity. |
